Blackrock Youth Club

Welcome to Blackrock Youth Club (BYC).Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for your young people (secondary school) to have fun and socialise face-to-face with other young people in our community.

BYC runs every Friday night from 7.30pm to 9pm during term time. All members must be registered to attend. You can register your child by using the following link: http://thq.fyi/se/eMcvA_Y

Please Note:

BYC members, once signed in each Friday night, are not permitted to leave until 9pm unless picked up by an adult. At 9pm all are free to leave without adult pick-up.
The nightly fee is €2. We DO NOT have card payment facilities.
We run a tuck shop each night where members can purchase sweets and drinks. Again, it is cash only.
All money taken in and grants received go back into BYC to fund speciality nights, buy equipment and pay for our end of year trip.
Mobile phones are permitted, however we would encourage the young people to do their best to keep them in their pocket and just have fun with the people around them.
BYC is a peanut/tree nut free zone, as a few of our members have allergies to nuts; therefore we would request that if any members are bringing in snacks, they must be peanut/tree nut free.

BYC is run by a team of fabulous volunteers (mainly parents). We are always looking for volunteers, so if you would like to be part of the BYC team we would love to welcome you on board! If you wish to know what it entails, feel free to contact me.
